Annette Pettitt
Founder and Lead Accountant
Annette came to the UK from New Zealand in 1995 and started a wholesale gift business. The rapid growth of the company meant she needed smart ways to keep up with the pace of change. Her discovery of the accountancy system Quickbooks gave her first-hand experience of how great software is essential to business development.
She started her own accountancy firm in 2014 and uses the time-saving benefits of online collaboration to spend more time talking to her clients about business growth plans and taxation.
Annette is a member of the Intuit Trainer Writer Network and trains hundreds of people each year in Core and Advanced QuickBooks.
When she’s not busy advising businesses, she can be found on her snowboard somewhere in the Italian Dolomites.
Ellen Moore Bloomfield
Accountant
Ellen grew up on a computer-free diet of paper ledgers and tax tables, teaching herself the essentials of bookkeeping and payroll with only a calculator and typewriter. She’s now a qualified bookkeeper and part-qualified Accounting Technician – and she’s fully computer literate. As well as a detailed working knowledge of accounting software packages like Quickbooks, Sage and Xero Ellen draws on her many years’ experience in a wide variety of banking and finance positions.
She’s a mother of three, grandmother of six, and dreams of living on a smallholding and holidaying in a horse-drawn Romany Caravan.
Jackie Kellock
Bookkeeper
Jackie is a freelance bookkeeper with clients in the farming, interior design and airline industries. After graduating in business studies, she had a successful career in marketing and finance. She set up on her own five years ago, and helps clients with a range of bookkeeping services, using Sage 50 Accounting, Xero and Quickbooks.
Jackie enjoys open water swimming, playing hockey and drinking a flat white
Tom Moore
Accountant
When his dreams of being a firefighter were extinguished by a serious knee injury, Tom worked for several years in the rubber industry, before turning his hand to accountancy. He’s a qualified accountant and currently considering his options in chartered accountancy. With his many years of commercial experience and keen eye for detail, he loves nothing more than reconciling a set of end-of-year accounts.
Away from the office, Tom can be found kicking a football about with his four children, or sparring in the boxing gym.
Rosie
Team Mascot
Rosie is showing early promise as team mascot. Friendly, reliable and obedient, she can already do roll-over, paws-up and basic bookkeeping.
