What information do we collect about you?

As a firm of accountants (ICO Registration Number ZA156196), we collect personal information about you: directly from you; ID verification databases; your previous professional advisers; and HMRC when you register with us.

By submitting your personal data you CONSENT to it being processed.

How will we use the information about you?

We take your privacy and the privacy of the information we process very seriously.

We collect information about you to:

  • Administer your account with us;
  • comply with our obligations under the Money Laundering, Terrorist and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (as amended);
  • process payroll;
  • pension submissions;
  • prepare tax returns; and
  • write letters to HMRC.

We will obtain your permission before we write to any other third parties except as required by law or as provided for in regulatory, ethical or other professional pronouncements.


We do not use your information for marketing purposes. We may use your email address for sending information relevant to the services that we provide to you.

Regulatory compliance and quality control

As a firm is regulated by the Association of Accountancy Technicians (AAT), we are subject to periodic monitoring visits, during these visits our Regulator has access to all of our records.

As part of our commitment to providing a quality service, our work is periodically subject to an independent quality control review. Our reviewers are highly experienced professional people, and are bound by the same requirements for confidentiality as our principals, subcontractors, consultants and staff.

Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected. We destroy correspondence and papers which are more than 7 years old unless they are of a permanent nature.
